About Ruthless:

People call me Ruthless for a reason.

Whether I’m in the court room or in the bedroom, my reputation is well-earned. I’m either working hard, working out, or working my way into some woman’s panties. But none of them share my particular kink, and I walk away feeling unsatisfied.

Until I met her.

She’s a friend of a friend, which makes her off-limits in my book. But then temptation had me by the balls and I had her up against a wall. She literally fucked my world off its axis, but it can’t happen again.

My plan was avoidance, but that got blown to shit when my firm hired her as a new junior attorney. Now I’m her boss, and I’m supposed to act like I don’t want to bend her over my desk every five minutes.

But I’ve never held myself back with anything before, so consequences be damned. It’s time to take what I want and show her how damn good it feels…to be ruthless.

 Gina’s Review:

Smokin’ hot! Gina Maxwell’s Roman “Ruthless” Reeves is hotter than the sun at the beach during the summer in Florida. Seriously! He’s all alpha male with a heart. I absolutely lusted after him and adored him at the same time.

During the day, Reeves is an attorney, who broke free of his father’s firm to start his own. He wanted to be more than his father’s son and he does it well. At night, he’s known as Ruthless—a stripper that can work the dance floor and the ladies effortlessly. He doesn’t think he’s the type to ever settle down. First, his parents’ relationship ruined his thoughts on marriage. Second, he’s into sharing his women with another man—mainly his best friend and also stripper, Austin (aka Rowdy). So, when Addison Paige walks into his life, he’s pretty sure he has everything under control.

Initially, I was not a fan of Addison’s. She was too brash, too crass for me. The way she talked sounded more like that you’d find in a men’s locker room than coming from a professional, classy female lawyer. I’m all for strong women, but I guess I don’t believe you have to talk like that to be considered a strong woman. I don’t mind sass—and Addison had a lot of that. That part of her I liked. And as the story progressed she grew on me—especially when she allowed herself to be vulnerable.

Their romance starts as a one-night stand in an alley that will force you to take a cold shower before you continue reading. And the heat never stops. The sex scenes in this book will make you blush, will raise your temperature, will make you seek out your significant other just so you can reenact the last scene…if you dare.

I’m not going to give away the plot of the story because it is well-crafted and fun. I really enjoyed Maxwell’s Ruthless and I’m sure you will too. Just remember to not to read it at work and be close to the bathroom so you can cool off with a cold shower every so often. When I say it’s scorching…I mean it!

I give Ruthless 4 smokin’ hot silver buckles.

About Gina Maxwell:

Gina L. Maxwell is a full-time writer, wife, and mother living in the upper Midwest, despite her scathing hatred of snow and cold weather. An avid romance novel addict, she began writing as an alternate way of enjoying the romance stories she loves to read. Her debut novel, Seducing Cinderella, hit both the USA Today and New York Times bestseller lists in less than four weeks, and she’s been living her newfound dream ever since.

When she’s not reading or writing steamy romance novels, she spends her time losing at Scrabble (and every other game) to her high school sweetheart, doing her best to hang out with their teenagers before they fly the coop, and dreaming about her move to sunny Florida once they do.
