Nat’s Review:

I loved this book!!! It was full of fast cars, sexy men, hot (and perfectly descriptive) sex scenes, romance and crime! I was hooked from the very first page…and I’m certain that you will be too!

Madison doesn’t expect to meet anyone at this point in her life. She’s recently divorced from her gangster-criminal husband and has shifted the focus of her life back to herself. She’s passionate about the roller derby league that she’s a star player for and wants to finish her college degree, so that she can create the life for herself that she knows she deserves. Her uncomplicated life quickly changes however, when her ex-husband, Dustin, discovers that she took a hard drive from his home during their separation, which he desperately needs back. Then in walks Aiden, the super sexy man who runs a custom car body shop, street races his hot rods at night- but who also works undercover with the FBI to help take down the street gang that Dustin is involved with. As part of the undercover operation, Aiden is “hired” by Dustin to retrieve the hard drive back from Madison. This is when things get steamy! There is an instant attraction between the feisty derby- girl, Madison, and the undercover street-racer, Aiden. And OH MY GOD, their chemistry is amazing! They both struggle with this new-found attraction though.  Madison isn’t interested at all in the “bad boy” type- she’s been there and done that, and it only caused her immense trouble. Aiden is just focused on taking down this street gang as part of his revenge for them murdering his sister and brother-in-law a few years earlier.  Despite neither of them wanting there to be this attraction between them, they find each other irresistible!

This is where Sidney Bristol takes us on this crazy, exciting and extremely sexual adventure in the first book in her series- Drive. It’s one of those books that you will find difficult to put down! I love Aiden and the way that he treats Madison with such adoration and respect. Considering what a tough guy he is, she finds herself surprised by how caring he is for her. I equally love Madison, she’s hilarious with her “sailor-mouth” and spirited attitude. You will not be disappointed with the romance and sexual energy in this book- it’s consistent throughout and the sex scenes are so, so, so well written, you’ll find yourself crossing your legs just to keep contained!!!

I can’t wait for the next in this series, which will follow two other characters that we were introduced to in this book.
